Prime Minister Narendra Modi has successfully concluded his official visits to France and the United States. During his trip, he met with French President Emmanuel Macron and US President Donald Trump, discussing strengthening defense, trade, and cultural cooperation between India and both nations.

New Delhi: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has returned to India after concluding his two-nation visit to France and the United States. His plane landed at Delhi's Palam Airport, where he was greeted by officials. During this trip, Prime Minister Modi co-chaired the AI Summit held in France, where discussions focused on the global development and cooperation in Artificial Intelligence.

Following this, he met with US President Donald Trump during his visit to the United States. This was the first meeting between the two leaders since Trump's second presidential term, focusing on further strengthening bilateral ties.

Meeting between Prime Minister Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron

During his visit to France, Prime Minister Narendra Modi co-chaired the Artificial Intelligence Action Summit with President Emmanuel Macron. Both leaders deliberated on the global development and responsible use of AI. A subsequent bilateral meeting discussed measures to further strengthen the strategic partnership between India and France.

PM Modi also addressed the 14th India-France CEO Forum in Paris, inviting French companies to invest in India, stating that it is an opportune time for growth and expansion. Both nations reaffirmed their commitment to boosting trade and investment, deepening cooperation in the Indo-Pacific region, and strengthening their participation in various global forums.

Furthermore, Prime Minister Modi visited the Marseille region in Southern France and paid tribute to Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, a prominent figure in the Indian independence struggle. This visit served as a gesture to remember historical ties and honor the cultural and historical links between India and France.

Meeting between Prime Minister Modi and President Donald Trump

During his US visit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with President Donald Trump, engaging in high-level bilateral talks on crucial issues such as trade, technology, defense, security, and energy. PM Modi arrived in the US from France on Wednesday and was warmly welcomed by Donald Trump at the White House on Thursday (Friday in India). During this meeting, India and the US decided to further strengthen their strategic relationship across several sectors, including defense, energy, and critical technologies.

During his two-day visit, PM Modi met with several top officials and business leaders, including US National Security Advisor Michael Waltz, National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard, Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk, and Indian-American businessman Vivek Ramaswamy. These meetings emphasized boosting bilateral trade and investment.

Following his discussions with PM Modi, President Donald Trump announced that the US is moving forward with the process of supplying F-35 fighter jets to India, further solidifying defense cooperation between the two nations. This decision is considered a significant step towards taking the India-US military partnership to new heights.
