Vij alleged that Arvind Kejriwal engaged only in propaganda and corruption in the name of development in Delhi and is now leading the Bhagwant Mann government astray. Vij believes that the AAP government in Punjab will not last long and a major political change is imminent.
Hooda Called a Dictator
Reacting to a heated debate with Congress leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda in the Haryana Assembly, Vij described Hooda as authoritarian. Vij stated, "Even when Hooda was in power, he didn't let others speak, and he continues this attitude in the opposition." He also criticized Hooda for raising issues without preparation and not adhering to parliamentary decorum.
Sarcasm on Factionalism in Haryana Congress
Vij also took a dig at the Congress's failure to appoint a Leader of the Opposition in the Haryana Assembly. He pointed out that six months later, the Congress is still unable to decide on its leader, highlighting the party's lack of leadership. Commenting on the Haryana government's presented budget, Vij called it the best in the state's history.
He stated that the ₹12 lakh crore budget prioritizes the holistic development of Haryana. He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visionary policies, crediting his leadership for the state's and nation's progress.
BJP High Command's Instructions to Ministers
Vij revealed that the Haryana BJP high command has instructed all state ministers to hold press conferences in their respective districts to disseminate information about the government's policies and achievements. Vij emphasized that this budget is beneficial for all sections of society and is historic, and needs to be communicated to the public.
