On April 22, 2025, Gambhir received two separate emails containing death threats from the terrorist organization "ISIS Kashmir". Both emails included messages such as "I Kill You". Gambhir urged the Delhi Police to immediately file an FIR and ensure the safety of his family and close relatives. Police officials, acknowledging the seriousness of the matter, promised to take special measures.

Given the seriousness of the threat and Gambhir's safety, the Delhi Police have registered a case and initiated a thorough investigation. According to the Rajendra Nagar Police Station and the DCP of Central Delhi, Gambhir's security will be prioritized, and protective measures will also be implemented for his family members.

The police are investigating whether any terrorist network is behind the threat and are exploring further details about its origin. Gambhir also requested law enforcement officials to take immediate action to prevent any similar situation in the future.

Gambhir's Response to the Pahalgam Terrorist Attack

Gautam Gambhir recently bly condemned the terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. The attack resulted in the deaths of 26 civilians, including two foreign nationals. This attack is considered one of the most significant terrorist incidents in Jammu and Kashmir since the 2019 Pulwama attack.

Gambhir wrote on social media, "Prayers for the families of the deceased. Those responsible will pay the price. India will respond to this attack." This statement followed the Pakistan-based terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) claiming responsibility for the attack.
