Ai+ has launched its new Flip 5G smartphone, the Ai+ Nova Flip 5G, in India. The device features the MediaTek Dimensity 7300X processor, a 50MP camera setup, AMOLED displays, and 8GB RAM.
The company said the smartphone is positioned as an affordable foldable device offering a premium flip-style design, performance-focused hardware, and camera features. The Ai+ Nova Flip 5G is among the limited number of Flip 5G smartphones available in India at a price below Rs 30,000.
The Ai+ Nova Flip 5G has been launched at a starting price of Rs 29,999 in India. The pricing applies to the variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.
According to the company, the pricing is part of an introductory launch offer. The smartphone is currently available exclusively through Flipkart and is offered in the Glacier White colour option.
The smartphone features a 6.9-inch AMOLED main display on the inside with support for a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel offers peak brightness of up to 1200 nits and a pixel density of 443 PPI.
On the exterior, the device includes a 3-inch OLED cover display with a 60Hz refresh rate and brightness of up to 900 nits.
Ai+ has designed the device with a slim and compact form factor. The smartphone measures 7.2mm in thickness when unfolded and weighs 193 grams. The exterior design includes a circular cover display and dual-camera ring layout associated with flip-style smartphones.
The Ai+ Nova Flip 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300X chipset built on a 4nm process. The processor includes an octa-core CPU with ARM Cortex-A78 cores.
The smartphone is equipped with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. It also includes a 4,325mAh battery.
The company said the device has been designed for multitasking and everyday usage scenarios.
For photography, the smartphone includes a 50MP primary rear camera along with a 2MP secondary sensor. On the front, the device features a 32MP camera for selfies and video calls.
For security, the smartphone includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for unlocking the device.
Foldable and flip smartphones are generally positioned in the premium segment, while the Ai+ Nova Flip 5G has been introduced at a comparatively lower price point. The device is positioned as an option for users looking to purchase a Flip 5G smartphone for the first time.
