SSR: Samajwadi Party (SP) National President Akhilesh Yadav has bly criticized the BJP regarding the ongoing Special Summary Revision (SSR) of voter lists in Bihar. He alleged that the BJP is deliberately engaging in conspiracies and plots in the election to cut votes. He also said that the BJP's real job is to create conspiracies when they have no answers to questions.
Questions on SSR and conspiracy to influence elections
Akhilesh Yadav clarified that the SSR could have been conducted a year ago, but the BJP is deliberately getting it done now in Bihar to cut votes. He said that the BJP is fully aware that the people of Bihar are against them. Therefore, they now want to influence the outcome of the election by making changes to the voter list.
The SP chief said that this is just an electoral conspiracy and the BJP's attempt to weaken the democratic process for their own benefit. It is like ending fairness in elections and is a direct violation of the rights of voters.
Allegations of vote theft and demand for affidavit
Another major allegation against the BJP is related to Rahul Gandhi. The Election Commission has repeatedly asked Congress MP Rahul Gandhi for a signed declaration regarding allegations of vote theft. Meanwhile, Akhilesh Yadav stated that the Samajwadi Party had given a complaint to the Election Commission with an affidavit about the deletion of approximately 18,000 votes about two years ago. Despite this, no action has been taken so far.
Yadav said that if proper action had been taken against the Election Commission or any officer, then no one's vote could have been tampered with. He accused the Election Commission of not working impartially and ignoring the allegations.
Allegation of disenfranchisement by BJP
Akhilesh Yadav has also accused the BJP of violating the right to vote. He said that the BJP has always violated the rights of the people, but now they want to tamper with the right to vote as well. This is against the basic principles of democracy.

He said that the Election Commission has failed to implement the principle of "one person, one vote," which is the foundation of our Constitution.
