Apple MacBook Pro Launch: Tech giant Apple introduced its new MacBook Pro (2025) in India on Wednesday. The company launched it with the powerful M5 chip and advanced AI performance. This laptop offers faster graphics and improved energy efficiency compared to the older M4 model. It features a 14.2-inch Liquid Retina XDR display, macOS Tahoe operating system, and up to 24 hours of battery life. Its price starts from ₹1,69,900, and sales will begin on October 22.
Stunning Display and Design
The new MacBook Pro features a 14.2-inch Liquid Retina XDR display with a resolution of 3024×1964 pixels. The screen supports a 120Hz ProMotion refresh rate, True Tone technology, and 1000 nits of peak brightness. It also offers an option for a nano-texture glass finish, which reduces screen reflections.
New macOS and Powerful Performance
This laptop runs on macOS Tahoe (macOS 26) and also supports Apple Intelligence features. The new M5 chip in the MacBook Pro (2025) has a 10-core CPU and a 10-core GPU, along with a 16-core Neural Engine that further accelerates on-device AI tasks.
For memory and storage, it offers up to 32GB of unified memory and up to 4TB of SSD storage.
Connectivity and Other Features
The MacBook Pro includes Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, three Thunderbolt 5 ports, an HDMI port, a MagSafe 3 charging port, and an SDXC card slot. The camera section features a 12MP Center Stage front camera, and Touch ID support is present for security.
Price and Availability
In India, the MacBook Pro (2025) has a starting price of ₹1,69,900, which includes 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD.
