Shubhanshu Shukla, Returned from ISS Mission, Shared His Experiences in Delhi. He Called It a Mission for the Entire Nation. The Mission Was Successful with the Cooperation of ISRO and the Government of India.

Shubhanshu Shukla: Astronaut Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla shared his experiences in Delhi for the first time after a successful mission from the International Space Station (ISS). At a press conference held with ISRO Chairman Dr. V. Narayanan, Shubhanshu stated that it was not just his personal mission, but a mission for the entire nation. He said that seeing the Earth from space is a unique experience. Seeing the beauty and fragility of the Earth from above, he realized that we need to pay more attention to the environment and the protection of our planet.

Contribution of the Country and ISRO

Shubhanshu thanked the Government of India, ISRO, and the mission team on this occasion. He said that the contribution of scientists, engineers, and the entire mission team has been very important in this success. He also stated that undertaking a mission in space is not easy, but it requires months of preparation, hard work, and mental fortitude. His experience will serve as an inspiration for future astronauts and young scientists.

ISRO's Progress and Recent Missions

ISRO Chairman Dr. Narayanan told the press conference that from 2015 to 2025, ISRO has doubled the number of missions undertaken in the last ten years. He said that three important space missions have been successfully completed in the last six months. He mentioned the Axiom-4 mission, stating that this mission is a symbol of a new height in India's space sector. Dr. Narayanan said that India has made unprecedented progress in space science and technology and that more challenging missions will be undertaken in the future.

Experiences During the Mission

Shubhanshu shared that he had the opportunity to see a broad view of the Earth while living in space. He said that while in space, the importance of small aspects of life becomes clear. There, every task is performed with caution and accuracy. He also mentioned that teamwork and trust are very important during a space mission.

The ISRO Chairman stated that India will undertake more space missions in the future. These will include technical research, international cooperation, and human space missions. He said that young scientists and astronauts are ready to actively contribute to this field.
