Beth Mooney's Century Changes the Game

The biggest hero of Australia's victory was Beth Mooney, who scored a memorable century under difficult circumstances. When the team had lost 7 wickets for just 76 runs, Mooney displayed an excellent example of patience and class. She scored 109 runs off 114 balls, including 11 fours. Mooney's innings is considered one of the best in Australian women's cricket history. Australia's bowlers delivered a brilliant performance in this match. Kim Garth was the most effective bowler, taking 3 wickets. Megan Schutt and Annabel Sutherland claimed 2 wickets each. Ashleigh Gardner and Georgia Wareham got 1 wicket apiece. The Australian bowlers never allowed the Pakistani batters to settle, maintaining constant pressure.

In the initial part of the match, Pakistan's bowlers had provided an excellent start. Nashra Sandhu took the most wickets with 3. Captain Fatima Sana and Rameen Shamim claimed 2 wickets each. Diana Baig and Sadia Iqbal took 1 wicket each. However, several catches were dropped in the fielding, and opportunities to save runs were not capitalized on, which helped Australia reach a large total.
