Action Taken on Bajrang Dal's Information
Police raided a conversion center located in the Sevar police station area of Bharatpur after receiving information from Bajrang Dal. The team that arrived at the center found approximately 50 people, including men, women, and minor girls, participating in a Christian prayer meeting.
Members of Bajrang Dal stated that this center was regularly involved in activities aimed at converting people from the Hindu community to Christianity. Immediately after receiving the information, the team alerted the police and reached the spot to ensure action was taken.
Materials Recovered from the Scene
Sevar Police Station Officer Satish Chand Sharma stated that during the raid, several Christian religious books and symbols were recovered from the center. He added that full cooperation is being received from everyone, and the investigation is ongoing.
He also clarified that no one has been taken into custody at this time, but further legal action will be taken based on the investigation. The officer stated that upon receiving the information, the police were able to act immediately.
Local Opposition at the Conversion Center
At the conversion center, women protested the arrival of the police, stating that sins are committed in temples, yet the police do not go there, whereas here they had gathered for peace and prayer.
