Patna: The swearing-in ceremony of the new government in Bihar (Bihar CM Swearing-In Ceremony) will be held at Gandhi Maidan in Patna. This ceremony is taking place at Gandhi Maidan after ten years, leading to an atmosphere of intense preparations in the state capital. The administration has begun full preparations for security and arrangements, while officials' holidays have been cancelled.
To make this ceremony grand and secure, the government has instructed the district administration, police department, municipal corporation, and other concerned agencies to work together. Considering the outline of the preparations, the entire Gandhi Maidan has been divided into various zones. This division has been primarily done to ensure crowd management and security.
Main Stage and VVIP Arrangements
The main stage at Gandhi Maidan is being constructed in accordance with VVIP security standards. Special attention is being paid to separate routes for special guests, designated areas for the media, and seating arrangements for visitors. Different agencies have been entrusted with the responsibility for the marquee, sound system, and lighting arrangements.
On Monday, Divisional Commissioner Animesh Kumar Parashar, Range IG Jitendra Rana, and District Magistrate Dr. Tyagarajan S M inspected the site. Necessary directives were given to the officials, and materials for marquee construction were unloaded.

Full Attention to Security and Facilities
Teams from the municipal corporation conducted a cleaning drive in the ground. The administration states that all departments are working in coordination to organize the ceremony in an orderly and secure manner.
The ceremony will be attended by representatives of political parties, dignitaries from various fields, and a large number of common people. For this, the administration has finalized special security and crowd management plans.
Ceremony at Gandhi Maidan After Ten Years
This year's swearing-in ceremony is being held at Gandhi Maidan after ten years. Previously, a swearing-in ceremony was also held at Gandhi Maidan in 2015. In 2005, 2010, and 2015, several chief ministers, including Nitish Kumar, took their oath at this venue. In 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the ceremony was organized at the Raj Bhavan.
It is particularly noteworthy that several senior NDA leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, will attend the ceremony at Gandhi Maidan. This ceremony is considered a prime example of Bihar's political and social vibrancy. Due to the new government's swearing-in ceremony, the District Magistrate of Patna has banned holidays for all district officials. This ban will remain in effect until November 20.
