These terrorists reportedly entered via Nepal, and their photographs and information have been shared with district authorities.
Patna: Following reports of three Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists infiltrating Bihar, the state police headquarters has issued a high alert. According to information received, these terrorists entered Bihar through Nepal. As soon as the intelligence input was received, police and security agencies immediately went into action mode.
The police have released the photographs of these terrorists and authorities in the border districts have been alerted. Security arrangements have been further tightened in view of the upcoming assembly elections.
Three Pakistani Terrorists Entered India via Nepal
According to intelligence agencies, all three terrorists are Pakistani nationals and directly associated with the Jaish-e-Mohammed organization.
- The first terrorist is Hasnain Ali, a resident of Rawalpindi.
- The second is Adil Hussain, from Umerkot.
- The third is Mohammad Usman, a resident of Bahawalpur.
According to reports, all three arrived in Kathmandu in the second week of August and from there, entered the Bihar border via Nepal last week. Police are now monitoring their every move. According to intelligence reports, these terrorists may be planning a major attack or terrorist act.
Security Threat in Bihar Elections
In view of the assembly elections in Bihar, this incident has become a serious challenge to security. The police headquarters has alerted all districts and increased patrolling in the border areas.
Security checks have been increased at railway stations, bus stands, crowded areas and important places. Simultaneously, CCTV surveillance and mobile investigation teams have been activated to monitor every activity of suspected terrorists.
Passports and Photos of Terrorists Released
Bihar Police has shared the passports and photographs of the three terrorists with the authorities of all the districts of the state. Based on this information, identification and surveillance of suspicious persons have been intensified.
Intelligence agencies fear that these terrorists may attempt mass attacks, dangerous activities or spread terror. Therefore, security has been increased in border districts and sensitive areas.
