Samrat Choudhary: Bihar Deputy CM Samrat Choudhary on Sunday launched a major attack on the Congress and RJD regarding the Grand Alliance's Voter Rights Yatra. Speaking to the media in Patna, he said that Rahul Gandhi and Lalu Prasad Yadav have pushed the country and Bihar towards destruction. Choudhary alleged that Rahul Gandhi's Yatra is only a means of protecting infiltrators. He also accused the Congress family of tarnishing democracy through booth capturing and corruption.
BJP Targets Grand Alliance's Voter Rights Yatra
Politics in Bihar have heated up regarding the Grand Alliance's Voter Rights Yatra. Deputy CM Samrat Choudhary has launched a b attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav. He said that this Yatra is just a way to protect infiltrators. Choudhary quipped that "birds of a feather" have met in Bihar, where one ruined the country and the other ruined Bihar.
Samrat Choudhary, targeting Rahul Gandhi and Lalu Yadav, said that both want to prove themselves as public leaders without any effort. Mentioning Karpoori Thakur, he said that Bihar recognizes true public leaders and that the politics of Congress and RJD are limited to saving power.
Allegations of Booth Capturing Against Congress
Samrat Choudhary also accused the Congress family of booth capturing. He claimed that it was admitted on the Congress's Twitter handle itself that the late Rajiv Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, and Rajesh Khanna were involved in booth capturing. According to Choudhary, the Congress has worked to tarnish democracy.
He said that in 2003, during the SIR review, millions of names were removed from the voter list and Rabri Devi was the Chief Minister at that time. Choudhary alleged that the Congress and RJD families are responsible for poverty and corruption. He cited the example of the fodder scam and the Alkatra scam, saying that these scams have damaged Bihar's image.
Taunt on Lalu Yadav and Rahul Gandhi
Deputy CM Samrat Choudhary, calling Lalu Yadav "the looter of Bihar," said that a person who starts a journey with the blessings of such a leader cannot bring welfare to the state. He said that the opposition is accustomed to winning elections not with the blessings of the public, but by looting booths.
Choudhary also said that Lalu Yadav kicked his own son out by holding his ear and now the people of Bihar are watching everything. He accused Rahul Gandhi of carrying the Constitution around but not reading it.
Indications on Future Politics
Samrat Choudhary said that the final voter list will be published on September 30 and in 2025, the people of Bihar will form a better government. He targeted the opposition, saying that they have no faith in the Constitution, the Election Commission, or the public. He also reminded that at one time the entire opposition, including Lalu Yadav, had opposed the Mandal Commission.
