BJP MP Slams Rahul Gandhi's

BJP MP Sudhanshu Trivedi has bly criticized Congress leader and Lok Sabha opposition leader Rahul Gandhi's statement regarding "surrender." Trivedi alleges that the opposition leader should speak more thoughtfully.

New Delhi: BJP MP Sudhanshu Trivedi launched a scathing attack on Lok Sabha opposition leader Rahul Gandhi for his "surrender" remark. Responding to Gandhi's statement, Trivedi asserted that the Congress party should apologize for its historical instances of "surrender." He accused the Congress of insulting the nation's armed forces and self-respect. Trivedi's criticism targeted not only Rahul Gandhi but also his party's past actions and history.

Questioning Rahul Gandhi's Statement: 'Why did you surrender PoK?'

Questioning Rahul Gandhi's "surrender" statement, Sudhanshu Trivedi asked, "Rahul Gandhi, you yourself should explain why you surrendered PoK?" He reminded the Congress party of its dark history of compromising national sovereignty and security. Trivedi stated that Rahul Gandhi and his party's history contains numerous shameful chapters of "surrender" that cannot be forgotten.

Insult to the Army and the Nation's Valor

Trivedi directly accused Rahul Gandhi of insulting the Indian Army and the nation's self-respect. He said, "There's a Hindi saying – 'A new mullah eats more onions.' It seems a non-mullah (Rahul Gandhi) is consuming so many onions that he's unaware of the extent to which he's insulting India's army and its valor." Through this proverb, Trivedi satirized the intensity and anti-national tendency of Rahul Gandhi's statements.

Rahul Gandhi surpassing even Pakistan's leaders?

Sudhanshu Trivedi claimed that Congress leaders are frequently mentioned in Pakistani media and parliament, but Rahul Gandhi's statement is unprecedented, even surpassing those made by Pakistan's army chief or any terrorist organization leader. He asked, "Even terrorists like Masood Azhar or Hafiz Saeed wouldn't dare say that India 'surrendered.' Does Rahul Gandhi want to surpass them? Is he trying to become a leader of Pakistani terrorist organizations?"

Trivedi lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stating, "Prime Minister Modi is like a lion, protecting the pride and security of Mother India. Therefore, Rahul Gandhi's 'surrender' statement is not only wrong but also against the nation." He argued that Modi's leadership and patriotism render Congress's accusations baseless.

Sharp jibe at Lok Sabha election results

Sudhanshu Trivedi also questioned Rahul Gandhi's political acumen. He said, "A leader who considers becoming Prime Minister for the third time a defeat, and doesn't see securing less than three hundred seats as success, needs to have his intelligence questioned." He quipped at the Congress, saying that Rahul Gandhi and his party should accept their political failures instead of questioning patriotism.

Rahul Gandhi had stated in a political rally in Bhopal that Prime Minister Modi immediately "surrendered" during a ceasefire between India and Pakistan after a call from former US President Donald Trump. He claimed that the BJP-RSS always had a submissive nature. This statement sparked controversy, with the BJP and several other political parties deeming it insulting to the army and the nation.

Reminding Congress of its history

Sudhanshu Trivedi also recalled the Congress party's past actions, stating that it had harmed the nation's self-respect and sovereignty on numerous occasions after independence. He said, "The chapters of surrender and defeat in your party's history cannot be forgotten. Therefore, Rahul Gandhi is urged to show respect for the nation and stop making statements that hurt the sentiments of the army and the people."
