This week, the box office is witnessing a fierce clash between two major films: Emraan Hashmi and Yami Gautam's 'Haq' versus Sonakshi Sinha and Sudheer Babu's 'Jatadhara'. Both films were released on November 7.
Entertainment News: Emraan Hashmi and Yami Gautam's film 'Haq' was released in cinemas alongside Sonakshi Sinha's 'Jatadhara'. Initially, both films performed well at the box office, but now their earnings are seeing a decline. Despite this, 'Haq' has left 'Jatadhara' far behind in terms of collections.
According to reports, 'Haq' collected approximately 0.47 crore rupees on Wednesday, while 'Jatadhara' earned about 0.60 crore rupees. A tough competition is observed between the two films, although audience inclination seems to be more towards 'Haq'.
'Haq's Box Office Journey – 12.90 Crore Business in First Week

Emraan Hashmi and Yami Gautam's thriller-drama 'Haq' earned 1.75 crore rupees on its opening day. The film's earnings saw a boost over the weekend, but a slight drop was recorded mid-week. By Wednesday, the film had earned 1.15 crore rupees, bringing its total box office collection to 12.90 crore rupees.
The film's budget is reportedly around 40 crore rupees. Although the film has only recovered about one-third of its budget so far, critics believe that due to word-of-mouth and increasing popularity on digital platforms, the film might sustain itself in its second week. 'Haq' is directed by Suparn Verma and written by Reshu Nath. The chemistry between Yami Gautam and Emraan Hashmi in the film has been highly praised by audiences.
'Jatadhara' Slows Down, Stalls at 5.14 Crore by Day Six
Sonakshi Sinha and Sudheer Babu starrer 'Jatadhara' opened with 1.07 crore rupees on its first day. The film's earnings saw a modest increase during the initial weekend, but the graph rapidly declined thereafter. On Wednesday, the film earned only 60 lakh rupees, bringing its total collection to a mere 5.14 crore rupees.
The film's budget is approximately 16 crore rupees, but considering the current earning trend, it's fair to say that it's becoming difficult for the film to recover its budget. 'Jatadhara' is jointly directed by Abhishek Jaiswal and Venkat Kalyan. It is a South Indian action-drama where Sonakshi Sinha's look and Sudheer Babu's action performance were much talked about, but the story and screenplay received mixed reactions from the audience.

'Haq' Ahead in Box Office Clash
According to the box office figures for day six, 'Haq' has collected more than double that of 'Jatadhara'. While 'Haq''s total collection has reached 12.90 crore rupees, 'Jatadhara' is still stuck at 5.14 crore rupees. This difference in earnings clearly indicates that audiences prefer Emraan Hashmi's 'Haq'. According to critics, the film's b story, mysterious plot, and Yami Gautam's powerful performance have drawn audiences to cinemas.
Meanwhile, 'Jatadhara' is receiving limited audiences in cinemas. Although the film is getting some support in certain areas of the South belt, its pan-India performance has been weak.
