The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) is expected to announce the Intermediate (Class 12) examination results for 2026 by the third or fourth week of March, following the ongoing evaluation of answer sheets. Students will be able to check their results online once they are released.
The Intermediate examination for 2026 was conducted from 2 February to 13 February 2026 at examination centres across the state. Lakhs of students appeared for the examination. The examination concluded without disruption, and the board is currently focused on evaluating answer scripts. According to available information, approximately 50 percent of the answer sheets have been evaluated so far, while the remaining evaluation process is continuing.
The Bihar School Examination Board will also release the list of toppers along with the results. Students securing the first position in the state will be honoured by the state government. According to the rules followed last year, students securing the first position will receive a prize of ₹2 lakh each. Students securing the second position will receive ₹1.5 lakh each, while those in the third position will receive ₹1 lakh each. Toppers will also be awarded laptops, Kindle e-book readers, certificates, and medals.
Students securing the fourth and fifth positions will receive ₹30,000 each along with laptops, certificates, and medals.
The Bihar Board Intermediate Result 2026 will be released online on the official website results.biharboardonline.com. Students will be required to follow specific steps to access their results.
Students must visit the official website once the results are declared and locate the active result link on the homepage. After clicking the link, they must enter their roll number and roll code and submit the details. The result will then appear on the screen, allowing students to check and download their marksheet.
Students who appeared for the examination are advised to log in to the official website promptly after the results are released to check their results. They should download the marksheet and keep it safely for their records. Students whose names appear in the toppers list must follow the prescribed process to receive awards and honours in accordance with official government instructions.
