BSP will organize the Kanshiram Memorial Day rally in Lucknow on October 9. Preparations are underway to transport 1.80 lakh workers from Agra to Lucknow by bus, train, and small vehicles. BAMCEF and BBF will also participate in the rally.
UP Politics: The BSP is actively working to unite its workers ahead of the upcoming 2027 assembly elections. For the rally scheduled in Lucknow on October 9, coinciding with Kanshiram's Mahaparinirvan Diwas (demise anniversary), the party has set a target of bringing 1.80 lakh workers and supporters from Agra to Lucknow. Extensive arrangements are being made for buses, trains, and small vehicles for this purpose.
Preparations for the Rally
The BSP has formed eight committees in each assembly constituency. The goal is to send approximately 20,000 people from each of Agra's nine assembly constituencies to Lucknow. These nine assembly constituencies have been divided into smaller sectors, with 40 sectors in each assembly constituency. Two assembly constituencies have been further divided into three zones.
Under this preparation, workers will depart for Lucknow on the evening of October 8 by 363 buses, 10 small vehicles from each sector, and by train. BSP District President Vimal Verma stated that the aim of this arrangement is to transport 1.80 lakh people from Agra's nine assembly constituencies to Lucknow.
Responsibility of BAMCEF and BBF Workers
Along with BSP workers, BAMCEF and BBF workers have also been entrusted with responsibilities for the rally. Their role has been defined to transport participants to Lucknow and to assist in the organization of the event.
Workers and supporters have been asked to arrange their own transportation and food and drink for the rally. Such events require extensive cooperation and preparation.
Party Focused on Mobilizing Crowds
BSP officials are working hard to gather a crowd of 1.80 lakh workers and supporters. A target has been assigned to the in-charge of each assembly constituency. The party is also contacting old workers and those who had joined other parties for various reasons, to ensure their participation in the rally.
