BSP Holds Major Meeting in Valmikinagar, Bihar, to Intensify Preparations for 2025 Elections. Focus on Free Education, Land Distribution, and Employment.
Bihar Election 2025: The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has begun to solidify its presence in Bihar's political landscape. A significant assembly-level worker review meeting was held on Friday at Dhi Chowk in Valmikinagar assembly constituency, Madhubani district. The meeting emphasized strengthening the organization at the booth level and activating workers for the upcoming elections. National and state-level party leaders were present, openly discussing public issues and hinting at future policies.
BSP Claims Shot at Power
The chief guest, Rajya Sabha MP and BSP's national coordinator, E. Ramji Gautam, asserted that the BSP is now decisively moving towards power. He claimed that the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections cannot result in a government without the Bahujan Samaj Party. Gautam stated, "If our government is formed in Bihar, education will be made completely free for all students. Simultaneously, government lands will be distributed among the people of the Bahujan Samaj."
Commitment to Advancing Behen Mayawati's Vision
Ramji Gautam further stated that the BSP's policies have always centered on the deprived and exploited sections of society. He added, "The vision that Behen Mayawati showed in Uttar Pradesh will now be replicated in Bihar. The participation of the Bahujan Samaj should not be limited to voting; now, the Bahujan Samaj must also come forward in leadership roles."
Anil Kumar Raises Concerns about Sugar Mills and Unemployment
Addressing the meeting, BSP's central in-charge, Anil Kumar, launched a scathing attack on the current and previous governments of Bihar. He said, "The sugar mills of Valmikinagar were once the identity of this region, but the Lalu-Rabri and Nitish-Modi double-engine governments have brought them to the brink of ruin. Today, unemployment is rampant here, and youth are forced to migrate for employment."
He emphasized that only under the leadership of Behen Mayawati can leadership emerge that understands Bihar's grassroots problems and is committed to solving them. He urged the workers to strengthen the organization at the booth level and prepare for the upcoming assembly elections.
BSP's Political Strategy: Focus on Caste Equations
This BSP meeting clearly indicates that the party is now targeting the electorate in Bihar with a social justice agenda, similar to its approach in Uttar Pradesh. It is attempting to build a b vote bank by uniting Dalit, OBC, and minority communities. Promises like government land distribution and free education aim to convey that the BSP, if in power, will prioritize social and economic justice.
Direct Dialogue with the Public
The meeting facilitated not only organizational guidance but also direct interaction with the public. Anil Kumar stated, "This is a crucial time. If the Bahujan Samaj remains divided, nothing can prevent us from lagging behind socially and economically. We must now fight for our future and rights resolutely."
Strong Leadership Presence, Enthusiastic Workers
Many prominent BSP leaders attended the meeting, including Kanhaiya Kumar, Mithilesh Kumar, Mo. Haroon, Dheeraj Chauhan, Shambhu Ram, Ram Niwas Rai, Lalan Ram, and Pintu Ram. The event, chaired by district president Amilala Ravidas, saw a large turnout of party workers and locals, infusing renewed enthusiasm within the party.
