Canadian PM Praises Trump's Role in India-Pakistan Peace, India Rejects Claim

Canadian PM Mark Carney praised Trump's role in establishing India-Pakistan peace. India outrightly rejected this claim. This has brought bilateral relations and Trump's controversial remarks into discussion.

America: Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney (Mark Carney) has highly praised US President Donald Trump (Donald Trump). He stated that Trump is a person who likes change (Change) and has played a significant role in establishing peace (Peace) between countries like India and Pakistan. However, India had already rejected this claim by Trump.

Mark Carney Praised Trump at the White House

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney did not hold back in praising US President Donald Trump. During the bilateral talks at the White House, he stated that Trump is a President who embraces change. He said that improvement in the American economy (Economy), an increase in defense spending by NATO (NATO) allies, and establishing peace from India and Pakistan to Azerbaijan and Armenia – all these are the result of President Trump's efforts. Carney added that Trump has directed global change and has strived for peace even in difficult circumstances.

Is Canada Trying to Appease Trump?

It is noteworthy that the Canadian Prime Minister's remarks come at a time when just a few months ago, President Trump had threatened to impose additional tariffs on Canada and even annex Canada into the US. It is reported that Mark Carney became the Prime Minister of Canada in March, and this was his second visit to the US. It is believed that the purpose of Carney's statement is to improve relations with Trump and satisfy the US.

India Outrightly Rejected Trump's Ceasefire Claim

Even though Trump may claim that he brokered a ceasefire (Ceasefire) between India and Pakistan, India had completely rejected this claim. India had clarified that no third party had any role in suspending military action with Pakistan. The Ministry of External Affairs stated that India resolves disputes with its neighboring countries bilaterally (Bilateral) and does not accept mediation (Mediation) from any other country.

'Operation Sindoor' Was Launched After the Pahalgam Attack

India clearly stated that this action was against terrorism (Terrorism) and there was no need for mediation or intervention from any third country.
