CBI Active in Manisha Death Case Investigation in Bhiwani. Eight Hours of Interrogation with Nursing College Operators. CCTV and Postmortem Examination Underway. Family Expresses Suspicions About College.
Haryana: The case of teacher Manisha's death in Bhiwani continues to be a subject of discussion. The CBI is investigating the matter, and several significant steps have been taken so far. On Tuesday, the CBI team visited the nursing college for the first time and interrogated the college operators. The team also conducted videography and photography of the college and surrounding institutions.
First Investigation at Nursing College
The CBI team inspected Ideal Nursing College, Ideal ITI, Ideal International School, and Ideal Veterinary College. The team took pictures and recorded videos inside and around the college. The operators were interrogated for approximately eight and a half hours. During the interrogation, the Dial 112 police team was also called to the college and left after a short stay.
Investigation in Dighawa Mandi
A two-member CBI team also reached Dighawa Mandi. Two libraries located there were investigated, and CCTV footage was examined. The team ensured that all crucial information about the crime scene and the surrounding area was recorded.
Manisha's Disappearance Incident
Manisha went to teach at her play school on August 11 but did not return. Her family searched extensively and informed the police. On August 12, the police registered a missing person case for Manisha. On August 13, her body was found near the canal in Singhani village. The family alleged murder after noticing injury marks on her neck.
Postmortem and Examination
A board of doctors at the Civil Hospital conducted Manisha's postmortem. However, the family refused to accept the body and demanded the arrest of the accused. Subsequently, a re-postmortem was conducted at PGI Rohtak. The investigation also revealed that a poisonous substance was found in Manisha's body.
CBI Investigation Ongoing
Manisha was cremated in her village on August 21. In the meantime, the family demanded a postmortem at AIIMS Delhi and a CBI investigation. The state government accepted both demands. Since September 3, the CBI team, led by Inspector Vivek, has been investigating the case in Bhiwani.
Sanjay Kumar's Questions
Manisha's father, Sanjay Kumar, has been consistently raising questions about the nursing college. He stated that the college operators have not shown full cooperation in the case so far. He alleged that they neither showed the CCTV footage nor met him at the appropriate time. The father suspects that some information related to the college is being concealed.
