CM Mohan Yadav Cancels Land Pooling for Simhastha 2025, Prioritizing Farmers' Interests in Ujjain

Farmer unions, office bearers of the Bharatiya Janata Party, public representatives from Ujjain, and district administration officials attended a meeting with Chief Minister Mohan Yadav. The meeting comprehensively discussed the organization of Simhastha.

Ujjain: To make Simhastha Mahakumbh 2025 grand and world-class, the Madhya Pradesh government has taken concrete steps. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has issued directives to the Urban Administration and Development Department and the district administration to pay special attention to the interests of sadhus, saints, and farmers during the Simhastha event. Regarding the organization of Simhastha, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav held an important meeting with farmer unions, BJP office bearers, public representatives from Ujjain, and district administration officials. In this meeting, it was decided that Simhastha would be organized at a divine, grand, and world-class level.

Respecting Farmers' Sentiments – Land Pooling Cancelled

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced that the land pooling done with farmers for the Simhastha event has now been cancelled. He clarified that this decision was taken to respect the sentiments and interests of the farmers. Mohan Yadav stated,

'The organization of Simhastha should be historic and grand, but at the same time, giving comprehensive consideration to the interests of sadhus, saints, and farmers is our priority. Farmers' land is part of their hard work and livelihood, and therefore, it is our duty to respect their sentiments. This is why land pooling has been cancelled.'

The farmer unions welcomed the Chief Minister's decision, expressed gratitude, and stated that this step honors their sentiments and interests.
