He said that the Election Commission is a constitutional body, but today it is working as an extended department of the BJP. Pawar alleged that the commission does not give clear answers when asked for evidence, but rather confuses the public with complex uses of language.
He said, "If you have evidence, present it clearly. That is why the Election Commission should give clear answers not in the national language, but in technical language."

Rohit Pawar said that Rahul Gandhi and other opposition leaders are not afraid of the threats from the Election Commission. He insisted that today even the common man is not afraid because the public has understood that there is a large interference of the BJP in the functioning of the Election Commission.
