Bomb threats to schools and colleges in Delhi create fear among children and parents. Kejriwal says BJP's four-engine governments have completely failed in law and order.
Delhi News: The continuous bomb threats to schools and colleges in Delhi have created an atmosphere of fear among children and their parents. The news of threats received by two schools on Monday and one school and college on Tuesday has created an atmosphere of concern in the capital. The Aam Aadmi Party has raised serious questions about law and order against the central government and the Bharatiya Janata Party, which is in power in Delhi, over this incident.
Fear grips the capital due to constant threats
On Monday, the Navy School in Chanakyapuri and the CRPF School in Dwarka received threats, while on Tuesday, St. Thomas School and St. Stephen's College of Delhi University were threatened with bomb attacks. Police and bomb disposal squads conducted search operations in all these institutions, but no explosives were found. Despite this, students, teachers, and parents are scared.
Kejriwal's sharp attack: "Four-engine government failed"
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal reacted to the matter on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter). He wrote: "What is happening in Delhi during BJP rule? On Monday, two schools were threatened, and on Tuesday, one school and a college were threatened. Children are scared, and parents are worried. The BJP governments with four engines have completely failed."
Atishi expresses concern, asks - does the safety of children have no value?
Atishi, the Leader of the Opposition in the Delhi Assembly and an AAP leader, also expressed concern over the incident. She said that receiving bomb threats to schools and colleges repeatedly is very scary and worrying. Children are living in fear, and parents are worried. Blaming the BJP governments in the center, Delhi Police, the Lieutenant Governor, and the MCD, she said that law and order has deteriorated despite having four engines.
Statement by AAP leader Ankush Narang in MCD
Ankush Narang, the Leader of the Opposition of the Aam Aadmi Party in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi, said: "If schools are not safe in the capital of the country, then what is safe? This situation is very dangerous. Children are having to go to school in fear, and parents are apprehensive every morning."
Such threats have been received before
This is not the first time that Delhi schools have received bomb threats. Earlier, in May and June, such incidents had occurred when threats were sent via email to several reputed schools. Even then, the Aam Aadmi Party had questioned the security arrangements and criticized the Delhi Police's inaction.
AAP's allegation - BJP government is not serious about security
The Aam Aadmi Party has claimed that the BJP government is not at all serious about the security of Delhi. Whether it is the central government, the office of the Lieutenant Governor, or the Delhi Police, negligence is being shown at all levels. The party also said that the safety of children is neither being ensured nor are adequate arrangements being made to avert the danger in time during the BJP rule.
