Union Minister Manohar Lal took a jibe at former CM Bhupinder Hooda during the state-level employment fair in Karnal. He said that if Hooda Ji is unemployed, he is ready to provide him with employment.
Karnal: During the state-level employment fair organized in Karnal, Haryana, Union Minister Manohar Lal took a sharp dig at former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda. He stated that if Bhupinder Hooda has become unemployed, he is ready to help him find a job. Manohar Lal's statement came at a time when Hooda had recently accused the Haryana government of scams.
Manohar Lal's Retort to Bhupinder Hooda
Former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda had recently said that the number of scams in Haryana is continuously increasing. Responding to this, Union Minister Manohar Lal said that if Hooda Ji has become unemployed, then he is ready to help him find employment. He added that somewhere or the other, they will get him a job. He further stated that many Congress leaders have become unemployed these days, so if they need employment, they can approach him.
State-Level Employment Fair in Karnal
A state-level employment fair was organized on Saturday at Dr. Mangalsen Auditorium in Karnal. Union Minister Manohar Lal was present as the chief guest on this occasion. The employment fair discussed providing employment opportunities to the youth from various companies and institutions.
Manohar Lal said that the Haryana government's aim is to provide employment to the youth not only in the state but also abroad in a proper manner. He mentioned that earlier many youths were going abroad illegally through the "Donkey route," which is wrong. Now, the government's effort is to ensure that youth get safe and legal employment opportunities.
Opportunity for 500 Veterinarians in America
American businessman and social worker Rajvinder Boparai also attended the employment fair. He stated that there is a need for 500 veterinarians in America and the Haryana government is striving to send these trained professionals from Haryana itself.
The Union Minister said that this is a great opportunity for the youth. He expressed his desire for the youth of Haryana to showcase their talent abroad as well and build better careers.
Employment Opportunities in Israel as Well
Manohar Lal informed that 200 youths have been sent for employment in Israel so far. In addition, there is a demand for 1,000 more youths. The Haryana government is continuously looking for such opportunities so that the youth of the state can get better employment abroad.
Emphasis on Self-Employment Schemes
The Union Minister said that the government is also encouraging youth towards self-employment. Under the Prime Minister Mudra Yojana, loans up to Rs 10 lakh are being provided for small and medium businesses. He advised the youth to work hard to enhance their skills so that they can not only get a job but also start their own business.
Targeting the Opposition as well
After the employment fair, Manohar Lal reached Karnal Railway Station. Here he interacted with passengers. During a conversation with a migrant youth, it was revealed that he was going to Bihar and worked as a porter in Karnal. Manohar Lal asked him if his name had been removed from the voter list. The youth replied that his name had not been removed.
Haryana Government's Employment Policies
The Union Minister stated that the Haryana government is continuously working to create new employment opportunities for the youth. Several initiatives are being taken in the state for skill development programs, startup schemes, and increasing employment opportunities abroad. He said that the government wants the youth of Haryana not only to depend on government jobs but also to take advantage of better opportunities in the private sector and abroad.
