According to the latest rates issued on the morning of February 25, 24-carat gold in the national capital reached Rs 1,61,940 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was recorded at Rs 1,48,460 per 10 grams. A day earlier, gold prices in Delhi had increased by Rs 400, reaching Rs 1,63,200 per 10 grams.
In the Delhi bullion market, 24-carat gold is priced at Rs 1,61,940 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,48,460 per 10 grams.
In Mumbai, 24-carat gold is trading at Rs 1,61,790 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold is quoted at Rs 1,48,310 per 10 grams. The same rates are applicable in Chennai and Kolkata.
In Pune and Bengaluru, 24-carat gold is priced at Rs 1,61,790 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold is available at Rs 1,48,310 per 10 grams.

In Ahmedabad, 22-carat gold is priced at Rs 1,48,360 per 10 grams and 24-carat gold at Rs 1,61,420 per 10 grams. In Jaipur, Lucknow and Chandigarh, 24-carat gold is quoted at Rs 1,61,940 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,48,460 per 10 grams. In the international market, spot gold is quoted at $5,157.16 per ounce. Despite a slight decline in global prices, domestic rates have remained elevated. Analysts said that weakness in the rupee has made gold costlier for holders of other currencies. The movement of the rupee against the dollar remains a key factor in determining gold prices.
Silver prices declined on the morning of February 25, with silver quoted at Rs 2,84,900 per kilogram. A day earlier, silver in the Delhi bullion market was steady at Rs 2,72,000 per kilogram. In the international market, spot silver is priced at $88.19 per ounce. In January, silver had crossed Rs 4,00,000 per kilogram, after which prices have continued to fluctuate.
