Donald Trump announces fourfold increase in Exquisite Class weapons production during Iran military campaign

The President of the United States, Donald Trump, announced a decision to increase the production of “Exquisite Class” advanced weapons by four times following a meeting with leading American defense manufacturing companies. The decision was taken while United States and Israeli forces are conducting a military campaign against Iran.

The announcement followed a meeting in Washington involving senior executives of major defense manufacturing firms. In a post on his social media platform Truth Social, Trump stated that the largest defense manufacturing companies in the United States had agreed to rapidly increase weapons production. He said the step would allow the United States to produce a larger number of advanced weapons within a shorter period.

The decision was announced amid continuing tensions in West Asia. The United States has stated that the availability of weapons is playing an important role in the ongoing campaign aimed at weakening Iran’s military infrastructure. According to these claims, Iran’s missile launchers, air defense systems, and weapons depots have suffered significant damage during the campaign.

Meeting with Defense Companies

Trump stated that he held detailed discussions with the heads of several major United States defense companies. The meeting addressed weapons production, the establishment of new factories, and production timelines. The companies collectively agreed to increase the production of “Exquisite Class” weapons by four times.

Several major defense companies participated in the meeting, including BAE Systems, Boeing, Honeywell Aerospace, L3Harris, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, and Raytheon.

It was also decided that a review meeting would be held again after two months to assess progress in increasing production, review new orders, and determine further strategy based on military requirements.

Weapons Production Already Accelerated

Trump stated that the process of increasing weapons production had begun approximately three months before the meeting. Preparations for several new plants are underway, and in some locations production has already begun.

He said the United States possesses a large quantity of medium and upper-medium grade munitions. According to Trump, these weapons are being used in the military campaign currently underway in Iran. He also stated that these weapons were recently used in Venezuela.

Trump said new orders for these weapons have already been placed to ensure that future military requirements can be met without shortages.

Competition Among States for New Weapons Plants

The United States president said that several states in the country are bidding to host new weapons manufacturing plants. The development indicates plans to expand defense production on a large scale in the coming period.

The establishment of new plants is expected to increase weapons availability and could also create employment opportunities within the defense industry. The Trump administration has described the move as necessary for national security.

Objective of Operation Epic Fury

The strategy comes as the United States is conducting a military campaign in Iran named “Operation Epic Fury.” White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt told the media that the primary objective of the operation is expected to be achieved within four to six weeks.

She said the United States currently has sufficient ammunition to complete the operation. She also stated that enough stock is available to continue military action if required after that period.

Under “Operation Epic Fury” and “Roaring Lion,” United States and Israeli forces have carried out large-scale air and missile strikes on several Iranian military installations. According to claims made by the parties involved, the strikes have caused significant damage in Tehran.

Condolences for Death of US Soldiers

United States Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth expressed condolences over the deaths of six American soldiers killed during the operation. In a post on the social media platform X, he said the country is mourning the loss of six exceptional soldiers.

He said the soldiers made the highest sacrifice in service of the country. The defense secretary also said their deaths would not be in vain and that those responsible would be held accountable.

Claims of Damage to Iran’s Air Defense Systems

The Israeli military released a video message claiming that Iran’s missile launchers and weapons depots had sustained heavy damage. Lieutenant Colonel Nadav Shoshani, the international spokesperson of the Israeli military, said approximately 60 percent of Iran’s missile launchers had been destroyed.

He also claimed that about 80 percent of Iran’s air defense systems had been eliminated. According to his statement, this has given Israel and the United States military advantage over Iranian airspace.
