During the final year of her undergraduate studies, she decided to prepare for the Civil Services Examination and began studying for the examination alongside her academic coursework. Over time, she developed a structured study plan while preparing for different stages of the examination.

Gupta prepared primarily from home and used online coaching resources during her preparation. Regular study schedules, time management, and continuous practice formed part of her preparation strategy.

She said the day the results were announced was a memorable moment when she saw her name at Rank 114 in the result PDF.

After the result, Gupta stated that her primary objective is to work in public service. She said she intends to focus on issues related to women’s empowerment, women’s education, and women’s safety, as well as children’s education and development.
