DU Admission 2025: Second Seat Allotment List Released Today

The undergraduate course admission process at Delhi University (DU) is progressing rapidly. The second seat allotment list under CSAS Phase-2 will be released today, July 28, 2025, at 5 PM. Candidates who floated their seats or applied for new colleges in the first phase can check their results on the DU CSAS portal. Students who are allotted seats must complete the admission process by submitting their fees by August 1, 2025.

DU Admission 2025: A Major Step Forward

The CSAS Round-2 process for UG admissions at Delhi University reaches a crucial point today. The second allotment list will be released at 5 PM this evening, allocating seats to thousands of students according to their upgraded preferences. Students who opted for seat upgrades will find out today which college and course they have been allotted.

How Many Students Requested Seat Upgrades?

In the first round, a total of 93,166 students were allotted seats. Of these, 62,565 students had already finalized their seats, while 43,741 students opted for seat upgrades. The list being released today will allocate new seats to these students, and candidates who applied for new colleges or courses in Phase-2 will also be able to check their status.

Important Dates for CSAS Phase-2

Students should pay special attention to all the important dates related to admission:

  • 2nd Seat Allotment List Release Date: July 28, 2025 (5:00 PM)
  • Last Date to Accept the Seat: July 30, 2025 (4:59 PM)
  • Verification and Approval of Application by the College: July 28 to 31, 2025 (Until 4:59 PM)
  • Last Date to Submit Admission Fees: August 1, 2025 (4:59 PM)

Students who do not complete their process within these specified dates may have their seats cancelled. Therefore, pay close attention to the timing.

How to Check the 2nd Allotment List

Students should follow the steps below to check the DU second allotment list:

  1. Visit the official website admission.uod.ac.in
  2. Click on the “UG Admission” section
  3. Click on the “Seat Allotment List” link
  4. Enter your Login ID and Password
  5. Check your allotment details on the dashboard

Students are advised to keep their login credentials ready in advance and to be patient in case of high traffic on the site.

Number of Courses and Colleges Offering Admission This Year

DU is offering admission to a total of 71,642 seats in 79 undergraduate courses across 69 colleges this year. A total of 3,05,357 students have registered for the 2025 session so far. Out of these registrations, approximately 2,39,890 students have entered their college and course preferences, which total 1,68,36,462.

Interestingly, three transgender students have also applied this year. In addition, 512 students have applied under the orphan quota and 7,243 female students under the single girl child quota.

  • Visit the CSAS portal and accept the seat
  • Upload all necessary documents on time
