ESIC Goa Launches SPREE 2025 and PMVBRY Awareness Campaign for Enhanced Social Security

The Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) in Goa conducted a special campaign to raise awareness among workers and employers about ESIC SPREE 2025 and the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana (PMVBRY).

ESIC SPREE 2025: The Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), Regional Office Goa, conducted an awareness campaign on ESIC SPREE 2025 and the Employees' Provident Fund Organisation's Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana (PMVBRY) on August 13, 2025, at the Kundaim Industrial Estate Industries Association, Goa. The aim of this campaign is to promote the registration of employers and employees.

SPREE 2025 is a special initiative of ESIC, which aims to expand social security coverage under the ESI Act 1948. This scheme will be in effect from July 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025, and through this, more employees and employers will be provided with social security benefits.

ESIC SPREE 2025: Expanding Social Security Coverage

The ESIC SPREE 2025 scheme aims to provide employees and employers with the benefit of social security coverage under the E.S.I. Act 1948. This scheme will be in effect from July 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025. Under this scheme, employers and employees can easily register and get exemption from previous liabilities.

Manish Kumar stated that the validity under this scheme will start from the registration date declared by the employers. No contribution or benefit will be applicable for the pre-registration period in the scheme, nor will any old records or inspections be required. This makes the registration process simple and convenient for employers.

Registration Process Simplified

ESIC SPREE 2025 has made the registration process extremely simple. The scheme not only encourages employers to regularize their workforce but also ensures that more and more workers can avail health and social security benefits under the E.S.I. Act. Employers were advised to take advantage of this scheme and ensure medical care, sickness, maternity, injury, or cash benefits in case of death during employment for their employees and their families. This initiative is a significant step towards improving the living standards of workers in Goa and increasing social security coverage.

Under the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana (PMVBRY), eligible employees can receive up to ₹15,000 as a one-time incentive. In addition, employers can claim from ₹1,000 to ₹3,000 per employee, with extended support for up to four years for new hires in the manufacturing sector.

This scheme is valid from August 1, 2025, to July 31, 2027. Its aim is not only to promote employment generation and financial inclusion but also to improve sustainable development and social security coverage.

Guidance for Employers and Employees

During the awareness campaign, Manish Kumar urged all employers to take advantage of this scheme and provide social security benefits to their employees. For registration and other information under the scheme, employers can contact the ESIC branch offices in Panaji or the ESIC Regional Office. Additionally, online registration and detailed information are also available on the official website https://www.esic.gov.in.

Both ESIC SPREE 2025 and PMVBRY schemes aim to ensure the safety and employment stability of workers in Goa. Through these initiatives, not only will employees receive social security benefits, but employers will also find it easier to ensure the service of their employees and comply with employment regulations.
