An incident of molestation has been reported in **Sultanpur** district involving a female Booth Level Officer (BLO) who was collecting forms under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) campaign. The victim was going door-to-door in her designated booth area to collect forms when a youth misbehaved with her and attempted to drag her into a room. When she resisted, the accused also tried to threaten her.
Upon receiving information about the incident, officials promptly took action, and a case was immediately registered based on the victim's complaint. The police apprehended the accused youth and sent him to jail.
Officials have stated that necessary steps are being taken to ensure the safety of BLOs deployed in the field during the special revision of the electoral roll. The police are conducting further investigation into the matter.
