BJP state president Babulal Marandi has reacted bly to this matter. He has directly questioned Chief Minister Hemant Soren in a social media post whether politics has stooped so low that the families of leaders are also being targeted. Marandi said that political competition is a part of democracy, but dragging women and supporters into it is against political decorum.
He expressed apprehension that this action may have been taken without the knowledge of the Chief Minister by some ambitious officers who are engaged in serving their personal interests. Appeal to Chief Minister to stop the action
In his post, Marandi appealed to Chief Minister Soren to be wary of such officers who could drag him into controversies and damage his image. He wrote that political battles should be direct, and targeting families or supporters is contrary to the principles of democracy.
The BJP leader expressed hope that the Chief Minister will take cognizance of the matter and ensure that administrative power is not used to harass political opponents.
