Gold and silver prices rise for second straight day across major Indian cities

Gold and silver prices in India moved higher for the second consecutive day, supported by wedding season demand and safe haven buying, with rates rising across major cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, and Bengaluru.

Gold and silver prices in India recorded gains for the second consecutive day, supported by wedding season demand and continued buying interest in safe haven assets. Prices rose across major cities, making jewellery purchases more expensive, while silver also extended its upward move.

In Delhi and other large cities, both 24-carat and 22-carat gold prices increased during the day, while silver prices climbed for the second straight session. Market participants used the recent price correction as a buying opportunity, which has now translated into higher prices.
