The futures prices of gold and silver saw a rise in the domestic market today. On MCX, the December gold contract reached 1,20,880 rupees, while silver traded near a high of 1,48,106 rupees. Both metals also remained b in the international market.
Gold and Silver Rate Today. On Friday, both gold and silver futures prices witnessed an increase in the domestic market. In morning trade, gold was seen trading around 1,20,650 rupees and silver around 1,47,950 rupees per kilogram. Precious metals also maintained their strength in the international market.
Gold Price Rises on MCX
The December futures contract for gold on MCX began with a gain at 1,20,839 rupees. In the previous session, it had closed at 1,20,613 rupees. During trading, gold touched a day's high of 1,20,880 rupees and a low of 1,20,801 rupees. This year, gold has already reached a high of 1,31,699 rupees.

Silver Price Also Strong
The December contract for silver on MCX started trading with an upward trend at 1,47,309 rupees. At the time of reporting, silver was trading around 1,47,949 rupees. Its day's high during trading was 1,48,106 rupees, and the low was 1,47,303 rupees. This year, silver has reached a level of 1,69,200 rupees per kilogram.
Gold and Silver Up in International Market Too
On Comex, gold opened at $3,986.90 per ounce and later rose to $3,998.40 per ounce. This year, gold has touched a high of $4,398 per ounce. Meanwhile, silver on Comex opened at $47.86 and was trading around $48.09 per ounce. Its high for this year is $53.76.
