A new bypass road is going to be constructed in the Gonda-Ayodhya region of Uttar Pradesh. Under this project, approximately one kilometer of new road will be built between Soni Harlal and Majhwan villages. For this, land belonging to approximately 40 farmers — about two hectares — will be acquired, and the acquisition process has already commenced.

The purpose of this bypass is to improve traffic flow, provide better connectivity to the villages and towns in the region, and offer amenities similar to an ultra-highway or ring road. Additionally, the widening and upgrading of old routes and roads built along canal banks are also proposed.

Several crores of rupees have already been released as the first installment, a portion of which will be spent on land acquisition. This development will facilitate easier movement for local farmers, villagers, and travelers.

Once the project is completed, this road will prove instrumental in accelerating the region's development, saving time, and alleviating transportation-related inconveniences.
