Gorakhpur DM Seeks Report on Youth Employment After Skill Training

Gorakhpur District Magistrate Deepak Meena has requested a report on youth employment post-skill training, aiming to connect unemployed youth with government schemes and self-employment opportunities.

Gorakhpur District Magistrate Deepak Meena has requested a detailed report on the employment and skill training status of the district's youth. He instructed officials to prepare and immediately provide a list of young people who have not been able to find employment even after completing training, so they can be connected to government schemes and self-employment opportunities.

The DM stated in the meeting that the purpose of training is only fulfilled when young people not only acquire skills but also secure employment or become self-employed. He directed that youth associated with skill training programs be financially empowered by connecting them to bank loans and other government assistance schemes.

The meeting also decided to increase the publicity of government schemes, so that more and more young people can benefit from these opportunities. The District Development Officer, bank managers, and representatives from various departments presented their reports and offered suggestions for further action.

The DM clarified that special attention needs to be given to employment and skill development so that young people can realize the true benefits of their training.
