Bollywood actor Govinda responded to viral videos circulating on social media showing him dancing at a school function and travelling in a small car, addressing questions raised about his financial condition.
He said the events being described as “small” included programmes attended by a Chief Minister and a Member of Parliament, and clarified that the car seen in the video was used as part of event protocol rather than reflecting his financial situation.
Senior Bollywood actor Govinda responded to social media trolling following the circulation of a video in which he was seen dancing at a school function. After the video went viral, some social media users questioned his financial condition.

Govinda said that the events being labelled as “small” actually included programmes attended by a Chief Minister and a Member of Parliament.
He added that social media is not under anyone’s control and that misleading titles are sometimes deliberately created. Govinda also clarified that the video showing him travelling in a small car was related to protocol arrangements and was not an indication of his financial situation.
Govinda said the shows in which he performed were political and respected events. He told critics that events cannot be categorised as “small” or “large” based solely on their perceived scale.
Govinda was last seen in the 2019 film ‘Rangeela Raja’. The film did not perform successfully.
He is currently working on a new project titled ‘Duniyadari’. The release date of the film has not yet been confirmed.
