Guna Tantric Murder: Three Arrested for Killing Baba Man Singh Over Fear of Black Magic, Attempted Suicide Staging

Police in Guna, MP, arrested three accused in the murder of tantric Baba Man Singh Bhilala. The motive was fear of his tantric practices, with an attempt to stage the death as suicide.

Police have arrested three accused in the murder case of tantric Baba Man Singh Bhilala in Guna, Madhya Pradesh. Fear and dispute over tantric practices were behind the murder, and an an attempt was also made to hang the body from a tree.

Guna: A case of murder of tantric Baba Man Singh Bhilala has come to light in Guna district of Madhya Pradesh. His body was found hanging suspiciously from a tree in Balkhandi village, under the Fatehgarh police station. Police investigated and arrested all three accused, sending them to jail. Initial investigation also revealed an attempt to portray the murder as suicide.

Superintendent of Police Ankit Soni directed a detailed investigation into the entire matter, and the Fatehgarh police station swiftly acted, apprehending the accused within 20 hours.

Suspicion of Tantra-Mantra Behind the Murder

The investigation revealed that the accused believed many people in the village were falling ill due to Man Singh's tantric practices. Accused Ozam Bhilala also claimed that he himself had fallen ill because of tantra-mantra and could only recover by taking prasad (offering).

The three accused confessed that they had repeatedly asked Man Singh to leave the village, but he refused. Following this, they planned his murder, took him from Fatehgarh to Balkhandi village, and strangled him to death.

Post-mortem Report of the Deceased

On Wednesday, October 8, 2025, police received information that a man's body was hanging from a Baheda tree in a field in Balkhandi village. Fatehgarh police station officers arrived at the scene and inspected the body and the surrounding area.

According to the post-mortem report, the cause of death was strangulation. Additionally, injury marks were found on the deceased's head, eyes, and body. The investigation confirmed continuous contact between the deceased and the three accused prior to the incident.

Arrest of Accused and Murder Interrogation

Fatehgarh police arrested the three accused, Ozam Bhilala, Amar Singh Bhilala, and Mukesh Bhilala. During interrogation, the accused provided a detailed account of the entire murder plan.

They stated that they took Man Singh on a motorcycle near Balkhandi village, put a towel around his neck, and pulled him down. He sustained a head injury from the fall. They then took him to a field, strangled him, and hung his body from a tree.
