The Haryana government has altered its reservation policy for Group C and D government jobs. Now, only residents of Haryana will be eligible for the reservation benefits in these positions. Recruitment will be based on CET scores.
Haryana Jobs: The Haryana government has made significant changes to the recruitment rules for Group C and D positions in government departments. Now, the benefit of reservation on these posts will only be available to residents of Haryana. All recruitments will be based on the score obtained in the Common Eligibility Test (CET). Candidates found using unfair means or involved in paper leaks will be permanently barred.
Priority to Haryana Youth
The Haryana government has made important changes to the recruitment rules to provide more opportunities to the youth of the state in government jobs. Now, the benefit of reservation on Group C and D posts in all government departments, boards-corporations, government companies, and autonomous institutions will only be available to the original residents of Haryana. This policy will also apply to posts like police constables and teachers.
CET Score Mandatory in Recruitment Process
Under the new system, all recruitments will be based on the score of the Common Eligibility Test (CET). Candidates will need to score a minimum of 50 percent marks in the unreserved category and 40 percent in the reserved category. The CET score will be valid for three years.
Strict Restrictions on Unfair Means in Examinations
If any candidate is found using unfair means during the examination or is found involved in activities like paper leaks, they will never be considered eligible for any government job. Such candidates will also be disqualified from all future examinations.
Digital Operation of Recruitment Process
The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) will directly accept applications for all Group C vacancies. The demand for Group D positions will be sent by the concerned department to the Directorate of Human Resources. The recruitment process will be entirely electronic, and applications will be invited online.
Application Process and Merit List
After the advertisement is released, eligible candidates will apply online based on their CET scores. For Group C recruitment, ten times the number of candidates compared to the number of posts will be called. However, in police recruitment, NCC marks will also be included in the merit.
HTET Mandatory for Teacher Recruitment
Passing the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) will be mandatory for teacher positions. However, the marks of HTET will not be included in the merit list of the written examination. This step has been taken with the aim of promoting quality selection.
Provision for Objection to Answer Key
Before releasing the final result of any examination, the answer key will be published on the website. Candidates will be able to raise objections to it. If the objection is found to be correct, the answer key will be revised. The authenticity of the questions will be decided by an expert committee.
Mandatory Assumption of Charge After Selection
Selected candidates will have to assume charge within three months of appointment. If a candidate does not assume charge within this period, they will not be selected for any other post of the same pay level. They will have to participate in the CET again and come up in the merit.
Biometric Verification Mandatory
HSSC can obtain the biometric data of the candidate at any time. If any difference is found in the biometric data taken at various stages of the examination, the candidature of the candidate will be canceled and they will be barred from future examinations.
