Total Vacancies
A total of 1010 positions are being filled under this recruitment drive. These include appointments in various trades under the Fresher and Ex-ITI categories. Recruitment to all positions will be for a period of one year, and selected candidates will undergo training.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the ICF Apprentice positions, candidates must have at least passed the 10th standard. Additionally, an ITI certificate is mandatory for some trades.
Age Limit
The minimum age of the candidates applying for these positions should be 15 years and the maximum age should be 24 years. Age relaxation will be provided to candidates from reserved categories as per government rules.
Selection Process
There will be no written examination or interview for the Apprentice positions in ICF. Candidates will be selected entirely on the basis of merit. This merit will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the 10th standard examination.
Special Provisions for COVID Passed Students
If a student was passed during the COVID pandemic, meaning they do not have a complete 10th standard marksheet, their 9th standard marksheet or the marksheet of the half-yearly examination of 10th standard, certified by the principal of the concerned school, will be considered valid in preparing the merit list.
Tie-breaker
If the marks of two candidates are the same, preference will be given to the candidate who is older. And if the dates of birth are also the same, the candidate who passed the 10th standard first will be given preference.
Application Fee
The application fee for ICF Apprentice Recruitment 2024 has been set at Rs 100. In addition, some extra online service charges may also apply. However, no application fee will be charged from Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PwD), and female candidates.
