Himachal Pradesh News: A shameful incident has come to light from Himachal Pradesh's Chamba district, raising questions about the healthcare system. A woman has accused a young doctor at Tissa Civil Hospital of misbehavior. The woman claims that the doctor used inappropriate language during the treatment of her two-and-a-half-year-old daughter. A video of the victim, made while she was crying, is now rapidly going viral on social media.

Woman Recounts Her Ordeal in Video

A shocking case has emerged from the Tissa region of Himachal Pradesh's Chamba district, where a woman named Babli has made serious allegations against Dr. Kulbhushan of the civil hospital. The woman released an emotional video on social media, stating that her two-and-a-half-year-old daughter was suffering from irritation in her private parts, for which she had come to the hospital for treatment.

According to the woman, the doctor was not present at the hospital at that time. He prescribed medication to the nurse over the phone, but the woman refused to take the medicine without an examination. Subsequently, the woman claims that the doctor told the nurse, "I'm not going to check by inserting a finger." The woman was deeply hurt by this statement and shared her ordeal, crying in the video.

"Such words do not suit a doctor" – Woman's Statement

In the video, the woman stated that using such language for a small child is in no way appropriate. She questioned how a doctor, who should uphold the dignity of the profession, could speak in such a manner.

The woman demanded strict action from the administration, stating that this is not just a concern for her family, but for every parent. She added that if stringent measures are not taken in such cases, public trust in government hospitals will erode.

Doctor's Side: "The Statement Was Misunderstood"

Following the woman's allegations, Dr. Kulbhushan also released a video and offered his clarification. He stated that on the day of the alleged incident, he had merely explained the medical procedure to the staff. According to him, the phrase "to check by inserting a finger" was used as a medical term, but the woman misunderstood its meaning.

The doctor said that he never intended to hurt anyone's feelings. He asserted that the matter is entirely a result of misunderstanding, and making it viral on social media was an inappropriate step.

"If anyone was hurt, I apologize" – Dr. Kulbhushan

In the video, the doctor also stated that he had no intention of hurting anyone and apologized if his words caused offense to anyone. He emphasized that his comment was solely in the context of explaining a medical procedure.

The doctor further added that his image has been damaged by the video going viral on social media without proper investigation. He appealed to people to consider the matter based on facts, rather than making judgments driven by emotions.

Three-Member Committee Formed to Investigate the Matter

Following this dispute, Chamba's Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Vipin Kumar confirmed the incident and stated that a three-member committee has been constituted for a fair investigation into the entire matter. The committee has been instructed to submit its report within the stipulated time.

The CMO said that the committee will record statements from all parties, and further action will be taken based on the evidence. The administration stated that if the doctor is found guilty, strict disciplinary action will be taken against him.
