The Himachal Pradesh State Selection Commission has initiated the recruitment process for 390 teacher posts across Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Commerce subjects, with applications open until May 4, 2026.
Under Himachal Pradesh Teacher Recruitment 2026, a total of 390 posts will be filled across multiple subjects. The vacancies include 78 posts each for Biology, Chemistry, and Physics teachers, and 156 posts for Commerce teachers. All positions are designated subject-wise.
Candidates applying for the recruitment must hold a Master’s degree in the relevant subject with at least 50 percent marks. In addition, a B.Ed degree and qualification in the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) are mandatory. Applicants will be considered eligible only if they meet all prescribed academic criteria.
The minimum age limit is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 45 years. Age relaxation will be applicable for reserved category candidates as per government norms.
The selection process will be conducted in multiple stages, including a computer-based test (CBT) and a written screening examination. Shortlisted candidates will undergo document verification.
Selected candidates will receive an approximate monthly salary of Rs 30,000. The application fee has been set at Rs 800, with an additional Rs 100 applicable for form correction.

Applicants must upload the required documents, verify all entered details, and pay the prescribed application fee. After submission, candidates are advised to retain a printout of the application form for future reference.
