Hyundai Exter Pro Pack: To attract customers during the festive season, Hyundai Motor India has launched the new Pro Pack variant of its micro SUV Exter. The company has set its initial price at ₹7.98 lakh (ex-showroom), which is approximately ₹5,000 more than the base model. The new pack starts from the S+ trim and includes features such as the Titan Grey Matte exterior color, side sill garnish, wheel arch cladding, and a dashcam. Hyundai says that the Pro Pack variant will offer customers a better combination of style, technology, and safety, and will further strengthen its hold in the micro SUV segment.
What's special in the new Pro Pack
The Hyundai Exter Pro Pack features a new side sill garnish and wheel arch cladding. In addition, the company has also introduced a new Titan Grey Matte exterior color scheme. This color scheme has been offered in this model for the first time. Besides, customers will also get the dashcam feature. This feature was previously only available in the SX Tech and SX Connect trims, but now it has also been included in the SX (O) AMT trim. The company has kept the price of this variant only ₹5,000 more than the existing trim.
Which trims will get the new pack
Hyundai has stated that the new Pro Pack starts from the S+ trims. This means that the customers who choose the variants above the base model will now get the benefit of this pack. This will provide customers with a combination of both style and technology.
Engine and Performance
The Hyundai Exter is equipped with a 1.2-liter, 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine. This engine generates 83 horsepower and 114 Nm of peak torque. The same engine is already being used in models like the Grand i10 Nios, i20, and Venue. With this engine, customers get the option of a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT transmission.
The company has also made a CNG variant available for customers. This variant, which comes with a manual gearbox, generates 69 horsepower and 95.2 Nm of torque. Speaking of mileage, the petrol manual variant offers a mileage of 19.4 kilometers per liter, and the AMT variant offers 19.2 kilometers per liter. The CNG variant, with a factory-fitted kit, claims a mileage of 27.10 kilometers per kilogram.
Combination of Style and Features
Hyundai has focused on making the style more attractive in the Exter Pro Pack. The wheel arch cladding and side sill garnish make the car's look even more robust. The new Titan Grey Matte color gives customers a new option.
The dashcam feature is now also available in the SX (O) AMT trim. This will provide customers with both safety and convenience during the journey.
Company statement
Hyundai Motor India COO Tarun Garg said that the Exter Pro Pack is an excellent blend of bold style, advanced technology, and robust safety for our customers. The company aims to provide a new experience to customers through this variant, and they will like this micro SUV even more.
