IBPS PO Admit Card 2025: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will conduct the Probationary Officer (PO) Prelim Exam on August 17th, 23rd, and 24th, 2025. Exam preparations are in full swing, and the admit cards are expected to be released on August 12th. Candidates will be able to download the admit cards only through online mode. For this, they will have to log in to the official IBPS website ibps.in.
IBPS has clarified that admit cards will not be sent to any candidate by post or individually. Therefore, all candidates must visit the website in time to download their admit cards.
PET Call Letter Released, Available Until August 16th
IBPS has released the call letters for the Pre-Examination Training (PET) on August 11th, 2025. These call letters can be downloaded until August 16th, 2025. The purpose of PET training is to give candidates a better understanding of the exam pattern, types of questions, and time management so that they can prepare better for the main examination.
Exam will be conducted on these dates and shifts
The IBPS PO Prelim exam will be conducted in four shifts at designated examination centers across the country.
- First Shift: 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM
- Second Shift: 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM
- Third Shift: 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM
- Fourth Shift: 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM

How to Download the Admit Card
After the admit card is released, candidates can download it by following the steps below.
- Visit the official IBPS website ibps.in.
- Click on the IBPS PO Prelims Admit Card 2025 link on the homepage.
- On the new page, log in by entering your registration number/roll number and password/date of birth.
- Your admit card will open on the screen.
- Download it and print it out to keep it safe.
Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme
The IBPS PO Prelim Exam will have a total of 100 questions, which will be in multiple-choice (MCQ) format.
- English Language – 30 Questions
- Quantitative Aptitude – 35 Questions
- Reasoning Ability – 35 Questions
Each correct answer will be awarded 1 mark. The total duration of the exam will be 60 minutes, and there will be separate time limits for all sections. Under the negative marking scheme, 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
Cutoff and Selection Process
Candidates who obtain the prescribed cutoff marks in the Prelim Exam will get the opportunity to appear in the Main Exam. Successful candidates in the Main Exam will be called for the Interview Round. A total of 5208 posts will be filled through this recruitment process.
