The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has released a revised schedule for the CA Final and Intermediate examinations. According to the official notice issued by the institute, these exams will now be held between May 16 and May 24.
ICAI CA Final, Inter Exam 2025: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced new dates for the CA Final, Intermediate, and International Taxation Assessment (INTT-AT) examinations scheduled for May 2025. These exams were initially scheduled from May 9 to May 14 but were postponed due to escalating tensions and security concerns between India and Pakistan. They will now be conducted between May 16 and May 24, 2025.

1. CA Final Examination (Group II)
- Paper 5: Indirect Tax Laws – May 16
- Paper 6: Integrated Business Solutions – May 18
2. INTT-AT (PQC) Examination
- Paper 1: Transfer Pricing – May 16
- Paper 2: International Taxation - Practice – May 18
3. CA Intermediate Examination (Group II)
- Paper 4: Cost and Management Accounting – May 20
- Paper 5: Auditing and Ethics – May 22
- Paper 6: Financial Management and Strategic Management – May 24
All examinations will be held at pre-designated centers from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM (6:00 PM for some papers). Previously issued admit cards will remain valid for the new dates.
CA Foundation Examination Remains Unchanged
The ICAI has clarified that the dates for the CA Foundation examination remain unchanged. These exams will be held as per the scheduled dates of May 15, 17, 19, and 21, 2025. The decision to postpone the exams was taken in light of the escalating tensions and security concerns between India and Pakistan. Following a recent ceasefire announcement between the two countries, the security situation has improved, leading to the ICAI announcing the new examination dates.
The ICAI has also clarified that if any public or local holiday is declared on the new examination dates, the examination schedule will not be altered. Candidates are advised to regularly check the institute's official website, www.icai.org, for updates.
