IIT BHU's campus placement for 2025 is progressing at a record pace. In just 5 days, over 1000 students have received job offers. More than 1700 students have registered, and high packages reaching up to INR 1.67 crore have also been reported.
IIT BHU Campus Placement 2025: The campus placement drive at Varanasi-based IIT BHU commenced in the first week of December this year, with over 1000 students receiving job offers within just 5 days. This process involves B.Tech, M.Tech, IDD (Integrated Dual Degree), and Ph.D. students. Approximately 300 domestic and international companies are recruiting students. The rapid pace of placements and multi-crore packages demonstrate why companies are prioritizing talent from IIT BHU.
How Many Students Registered This Year
B.Tech students have accounted for the largest share in IIT BHU Placement 2025. Approximately 1100 B.Tech students have applied for placements, constituting a significant portion of the total registrations.
Additionally, around 550 students from M.Tech and IDD (Integrated Dual Degree) programs have participated. Furthermore, approximately 40 Ph.D. students have also taken part in the placement process, clearly indicating that students from all courses are receiving responses from companies.

Multi-Crore Packages in 5 Days
On the very first day of placements, 17 students from IIT BHU received annual package offers exceeding INR 1 crore. The highest package recorded so far is INR 1.67 crore per annum.
Moreover, the minimum package has also been above INR 29 lakh per annum, which in itself indicates that companies are investing generously in high-caliber talent this year.
Presence of 300 Companies
This year, approximately 300 major national and international companies are participating in the IIT BHU campus placement. These include prominent companies like Hindustan Unilever, Bajaj Group, Texas Instruments, ICICI Bank, Godrej, Flipkart, and Walmart.
Such extensive participation from companies demonstrates the b standing of IIT BHU students in the industry. Companies from the technology, finance, manufacturing, and data sectors are prioritizing these students.
