Areas specifically mentioned include South East Delhi, Central Delhi, Shahdara, and East Delhi. Light rain or drizzle is anticipated in other parts. People have been advised to carry umbrellas and other rain protection gear when venturing out.
Weather in Uttar Pradesh
According to the Meteorological Department, some parts of Western Uttar Pradesh and certain regions of Eastern Uttar Pradesh may experience rain with thunderstorms and lightning on August 30. Districts affected by heavy rainfall include: Ballia, Bahraich, Budaun, Chandauli, Kanpur Nagar, Hardoi, Farrukhabad, Gonda, Kasganj, Lakhimpur Kheri, Meerut, Mirzapur, Muzaffarnagar, Shahjahanpur, Unnao, Prayagraj, Varanasi. In Uttarakhand, caution has been advised in the districts of Bageshwar, Pithoragarh, Chamoli, Rudraprayag, and Udham Singh Nagar due to torrential rains expected on August 30. Madhya Pradesh is likely to witness heavy rainfall in Dhar, Khargone, Betul, Khandwa, Barwani, Alirajpur, Harda, Hoshangabad, Chhindwara, and Burhanpur. Rajasthan has an alert for heavy rainfall in Banswada, Udaipur, Pratapgarh, Dungarpur, and Sirohi. As many as 91 people have lost their lives in rain-related incidents in Rajasthan so far.
