Weather in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh

The temperature will increase slightly during the day, and winds will blow at a speed of 20-30 kilometers per hour at night. Similar weather conditions are expected to persist in Delhi for the next 3-4 days.
Heavy rainfall is predicted in many districts of Uttar Pradesh on September 12. According to the Lucknow Meteorological Department, there is a risk of rain in Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar, Bijnor, Moradabad, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Basti, Balrampur, Gonda, and Bahraich. The department has appealed to people to exercise caution and stay safe.

The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of torrential rain and lightning strikes in West Champaran, Saran, Siwan, Muzaffarpur, Banka, and Bhagalpur. People have been advised to stay away from rivers, streams, and flood-affected areas. In Uttarakhand, heavy rainfall is anticipated in Pithoragarh, Dehradun, Nainital, Pauri Garhwal, Uttarkashi, Udham Singh Nagar, Champawat, Tehri Garhwal, Bageshwar, and Rudraprayag.
The Meteorological Department has also issued a caution alert for Ranchi, Palamu, Jamshedpur, Bokaro, and Gumla in Jharkhand. Heavy rainfall in Uttarakhand and Jharkhand could lead to landslides and overflowing rivers and streams. Local authorities have urged people to remain vigilant and stay in safe locations.
Weather Situation in Himachal Pradesh and Punjab
The probability of rain in Himachal Pradesh on September 12 is low, and people may find some respite. Over 400 people have lost their lives so far due to the rain and floods in Himachal in the past months. Flooding is still ongoing in Punjab, but sunshine is expected in the next five days. 1400 villages in Punjab are submerged, and 43 lives have been lost.
