External Affairs Minister Jaishankar warns Pakistan: Cross the line, and India will retaliate deep within your territory. Operation Sindur inflicts heavy losses on Pakistan; Pakistan's actions exposed globally.
Delhi: External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar issued a b warning to Pakistan. He stated that if Pakistan provokes India with terrorist attacks, India will retaliate deep within its territory. This statement follows a terrorist attack in Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir, which killed 26 people. Jaishankar clearly stated that Pakistan is training and sending thousands of terrorists against India, and this will no longer be tolerated.
Pakistan learns a lesson from Operation Sindur
Launched on May 7, 2025, Operation Sindur inflicted irreparable damage on Pakistan. In this operation, the Indian army precisely targeted terrorist bases in Pakistan and PoK. Over 100 terrorists from groups like Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba were killed.
During his European tour, Jaishankar stated that Operation Sindur demonstrated India's unwavering resolve against terrorism. He explicitly warned that if Pakistan repeats barbaric attacks like the Pulwama incident, India will eliminate terrorist organizations and their leaders, regardless of how deeply they are hidden within Pakistan.
Jaishankar's stern message: Zero tolerance
In an interview with Politico on Monday, Jaishankar said, “We will not tolerate Pakistan's sponsorship of terrorism. If attacks like the April incident continue, they will have to face the consequences. We will target terrorist organizations and their leaders, wherever they may be.”
He also stated that Pakistan is openly training and sending thousands of terrorists against India. Jaishankar's statement serves as a b message not only to Pakistan but also to the world, underscoring India's zero-tolerance policy towards terrorism.
Indian strikes on Pakistani airbases
Referring to the success of Operation Sindur, Jaishankar revealed that on May 10, India launched strikes on 8 major Pakistani airbases. These strikes inflicted heavy damage on the Pakistani Air Force. Satellite imagery clearly showed these airbases rendered completely inoperable.
When asked about the extent of the damage, Jaishankar said, “Our Rafale fighter jets and missiles inflicted such damage on Pakistan that they were forced to appeal for peace.” He added that relevant authorities and information will be released at the appropriate time, but the destruction of Pakistani airbases serves as evidence of India's capabilities.
