0. The U.S. Federal Reserve’s decision to keep rates unchanged, lower crude oil prices, and easing geopolitical concerns are supporting sentiment, while RVNL, HFCL, Lupin, HUDCO, Gujarat Gas and other companies remain in focus on corporate developments.

Indian equity markets are expected to open on a firm note on Thursday, supported by improved global cues, gains in GIFT Nifty, and the U.S. Federal Reserve’s decision to keep interest rates unchanged.

At around 7:30 a.m., GIFT Nifty was trading higher by 104.50 points, or 0.44%, at 24,060, indicating a positive start for Dalal Street.

The U.S. Federal Reserve left interest rates unchanged at its latest policy meeting, signaling stability in global financial markets. Investors had largely anticipated the decision, and markets reacted positively to the outcome.

According to market experts, stable global interest rates and a gradual moderation in inflation create a favorable environment for emerging markets, particularly India.

International crude oil prices have also declined, which is beneficial for import-dependent economies such as India by reducing pressure on inflation and the current account deficit.

Market analysts believe the gradual uptrend in Indian equities may continue. Expectations of easing geopolitical tensions in West Asia have also improved investor risk appetite. Domestic economic data and corporate developments are additionally providing support to market sentiment.
