Iran Says Military Fully Prepared as UAE Rejects Reports of Netanyahu Secret Visit

Iranian military ted States and Israel, while the UAE denied reports of a secret visit by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The developments come as concerns grow over security in the Strait of Hormuz and regional military activity.

Iranian military spokesperson Brigadier General Mohammad Akrami Nia said there was no scope for retreat and that the country’s armed forces were fully prepared amid recent tensions involving the United States and Israel. He said Iran’s military preparedness had been fully activated and strengthened following the recent escalation.

Akrami Nia said the current ceasefire situation remained fragile and that regional conditions could change at any time. He stated that Iran was fully prepared for any potential confrontation.

He claimed that the western section of the strategically significant Strait of Hormuz was under the control of the naval forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), while the eastern section was being managed by the regular Iranian Navy.

According to Akrami Nia, Iran’s armed forces had prevented any external power from succeeding in its military or strategic objectives. He also claimed that several pieces of equipment at US military bases in the Middle East had been damaged during the conflict.

The Iranian spokesperson said the United States and Israel had misjudged Iran’s military capabilities. He claimed that the strategy adopted by what he described as enemy countries had not proved effective against Iran’s defence systems and retaliatory capabilities.

The statement came amid continuing regional tensions and ongoing diplomatic efforts aimed at finding a resolution.

Separately, the United Arab Emirates rejected reports of an alleged secret visit by the Israeli prime minister.

The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs said reports of any undeclared or secret visit were entirely baseless. The ministry stated that no unofficial visit or concealed meeting involving Benjamin Netanyahu had taken place.

The UAE also said its relations with Israel operated within a transparent and official framework under the Abraham Accords.

In contrast, the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office claimed that Netanyahu had made a secret visit to the UAE during the military campaign against Iran and met UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

According to the Israeli side, the alleged meeting was intended to strengthen regional security and military coordination. The UAE, however, bly denied the claims, resulting in conflicting statements from both sides.

Some reports also claimed that Israel had deployed Iron Dome systems and military resources in the UAE during the conflict. Reports further referred to an alleged visit to the UAE by Mossad chief David Barnea.

These reports have not received official confirmation, though discussions surrounding regional tensions and expanding military cooperation have continued to draw international attention.

Amid rising tensions in the Middle East, security in the Strait of Hormuz has emerged as a key concern. Approximately 20 percent of the world’s oil and energy supplies pass through the route.

The energy security of several countries, including India, depends on the region. Authorities recently confirmed the safe passage of the LPG tanker MV Sunshine through the Strait of Hormuz while it was en route to India.

The vessel was reported to be moving through a secure corridor under the monitoring of multiple agencies and naval forces, reflecting the seriousness of the current situation.

Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi said the situation in the Strait of Hormuz would improve further once peace was restored in the region. He said Iran would comply with international laws and supported maintaining regional stability.

Gharibabadi also welcomed any initiative by India aimed at reducing regional tensions.

Recent pro-government rallies in Iran also featured displays of military capability. During the rallies, Shahed-136 drones were publicly displayed and carried through streets with decorative elements.

The drones are regarded as capable of conducting long-range strikes and have been widely discussed in connection with recent global conflicts. Large crowds at the rallies were seen chanting slogans in support of Iran’s military capabilities.

Statements and military activities involving Iran, the United States, Israel and Gulf countries have continued to intensify regional geopolitical tensions.

Experts said tensions around strategic routes such as the Strait of Hormuz could affect global oil markets, trade and energy supplies.
