Dhanbad: Jharkhand Police successfully carried out a major security operation by arresting 12 associates of fugitive gangster Prince Khan. An encounter took place between the police and criminals in Rajganj, under the Tetulmari police station area of Dhanbad district, in which one criminal was injured. The arrested gang members were operating a criminal network in the state from Dubai.
Encounter Between Police and Criminals
According to information received, Dhanbad SSP Prabhat Kumar was informed that Prince Khan and his criminals were planning to carry out a major incident in Rajganj. Following this, the SSP formed a special police team and dispatched them to the scene.
As soon as the police arrived, the criminals started firing at their vehicle. The police retaliated by firing at the criminals. In this shootout, one criminal, Bhanu Manjhi, was injured. He was immediately admitted to a local hospital for treatment. A team of high-ranking officials, including SSP Prabhat Kumar, was present at the scene and engaged in investigating the matter.
12 Associates of Prince Khan Arrested
In this operation, the police arrested 12 key associates of fugitive gangster Prince Khan. The arrested gang includes Prince Khan's close aide, Saifi alias Major.
Other arrested criminals include shooter Suraj Tandi (Sambalpur), Ashish Kumar Singh (Jamshedpur), Tauqeer Raza (Wasseypur), Lucky Vishal (Jamshedpur), Afridi Raza (Wasseypur), Pawan Kumar Singh (Wasseypur), Hritik Kumar Vishwakarma (Katras), Vikram Kumar Saw, Aman Kumar Gupta, Akash Kumar Barnwal, Tauqeel Ansari, and Abhishek Pandey.
Recovered Material and Police Action
From the possession of the arrested criminals, the police recovered two country-made pistols, three live cartridges, two country-made bombs, Rs 31,970 in cash, two motorcycles, and seven mobile phones. This action is being considered a major success for the state police.
Police officials stated that this gang was controlling crime in the state from Dubai. With their arrest and the recovered material, several criminal conspiracies are now likely to be uncovered.
